Meet Brittany Maynard, A.R.N.P.

Brittany Maynard is a board-certified registered nurse practitioner. Brittany is the newest member of the Lake Howell Health Center staff. She joined the team in the fall of 2018.

Brittany’s knowledge and experience make her an invaluable resource to the Lake Howell family. Brittany works alongside our doctors with their family practice and addiction services to ensure each patient gets the health care they deserve.

Brittany was born and raised in Connecticut. She attended the University of Connecticut for her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She later earned her master’s degree in nursing with a specialization in family nursing from Simmons University.

Brittany received her Drug Addiction Treatment Act waiver which allows her to prescribe life-saving medications to patients battling drug addictions. Her knowledge of both family medicine and addiction medicine makes her a great addition to the Lake Howell Health Center staff.

After completing her higher education, she moved to Florida. She worked as both an emergency department nurse and a trauma nurse for the last six years before joining Lake Howell Health Center.
