Dr. Kent Hoffman is the medical director Lake Howell Health Center. He is board-certified in family practice and addiction medicine. As a doctor of osteopathy, he studies your medical history and takes a whole-body approach to treatment. Dr. Hoffman also created the SoberDoc treatment program, which allows people struggling with addiction to successfully recover without losing their family, home or job.
Dr. Hoffman tailors treatment to your needs, whether you are in for a checkup or battling an addiction.
Dr. Kathleen Todd has over 20 years of experience practicing osteopathic family medicine. Dr. Todd is board-certified in family practice and neuromusculoskeletal medicine. Dr. Todd will work with you and review your health history to find the best treatment options available.
Outside of family practice, Dr. Todd helps patients beat addiction through customized treatment plans. She also helps patients lose weight and stay healthy through the TRY Weight Loss program.
Emily Morgan has been a family nurse practitioner since 2010. She works alongside Lake Howell’s doctors to provide many different services for patients. Emily has experience in treating chronic diseases, respiratory infections, skin diseases and more.
Because of her close relationship with Lake Howell’s doctors, she also helps with addiction treatment. She can prescribe medications to curb withdrawal symptoms and cravings in addiction patients.
Brittany Maynard is the newest member of the Lake Howell Health Center staff. She joined the team in the fall of 2018. She works closely with our doctors so each patient gets the quality care they deserve.
Brittany studied family medicine in college, allowing her to treat a variety of common illnesses, infections and other issues. Brittany can also prescribe medications to those suffering from addiction to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and cravings.
Sam Beckman is the on-site addiction counselor at Lake Howell Health Center. He is licensed to treat mental health and specializes in helping people with addictions. Sam has over 40 years of experience in conducting individual and group therapy sessions. He teaches patients and their families strategies to cope and succeed in addiction recovery.
Like the other staff members, Sam knows that each patient is unique. He alters his approach for different personalities and addictions, ensuring an effective treatment.
