Dr. Kent Hoffman is the medical director Lake Howell Health Center. He is board-certified in family practice and addiction medicine. As a doctor of osteopathy, he studies your medical history and takes a whole-body approach to treatment. Dr. Hoffman also created the SoberDoc treatment program, which allows people struggling with addiction to successfully recover without losing their family, home or job.
Dr. Hoffman tailors treatment to your needs, whether you are in for a checkup or battling an addiction.
Nicole Floyd Palm is a Physician Assistant certified by the NCCPA who is new to Lake Howell Health Center. She has been practicing internal medicine for the past 8 years, and addiction medicine for 4. She will be working with Dr. Hoffman to provide excellent care and a whole-patient approach to health and wellness.
Allison Libert is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners who is new to working with Lake Howell Health Center. She works closely with Dr. Hoffman to provide quality care to every patient.
Allison is a two-time graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. As a registered nursing she has spent 6 years working in various areas of medicine including working with school-aged children administering vaccinations and adults in the inpatient setting. Her current areas of focus include family medicine, chronic disease management, wellness exams, sick visits, and well-women exam
Sam Beckman is the on-site addiction counselor at Lake Howell Health Center. He is licensed to treat mental health and specializes in helping people with addictions. Sam has over 40 years of experience in conducting individual and group therapy sessions. He teaches patients and their families strategies to cope and succeed in addiction recovery.
Like the other staff members, Sam knows that each patient is unique. He alters his approach for different personalities and addictions, ensuring an effective treatment.
