Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Kristen H. Umholtz is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor offering counseling at Lake Howell Health Center through Healthy Habits Counseling Orlando and also provides help for an online therapy platform called BetterHelp. At Lake Howell Health Center, Kristen offers individual and group counseling for people struggling with substance abuse, addictions, depression, anxiety, and codependency issues.
She has experience working in inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment centers and is currently involved in her church addiction group, Action Recovery. For the past couple of years, she has been located in a high school while she worked for Aspire Health Partners as a New Horizons Counselor.
Kristen is passionate about working with adolescents and young adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, and substance issues. She is also a certified SYMBIS assessment facilitator who offers premarital counseling.
Kristen received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Liberty University in 2017 and graduated with her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in May 2020.
